As the long, cold winter slowly turns into the wonder that is spring, Mother Nature surely knows how to leave plenty of work behind!
Condominium complexes face the bulk of the work as residents slowly return to the great outdoors. So after the winter thaw, it’s a good time to perform a spring walkabout to evaluate and inspect common areas such as sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, steps, roofs, exterior cladding and list goes on! Many boards can often become overwhelmed with the daunting task of what to look for and how to prioritize your walkabout.
Come and learn best practices on how to structure a spring walkabout for your complex. Click here to register before April 10th!

Do you know what the Occupational Health and Safety requirements are if you are completing a major capital project? How can you make sure your project does not get a stop work order? When do you need permits? Do you know the process involved with a major project? When should you consult professionals? Are the upgrades Code compliant? Should the work be phased or not? Are you familiar with a CCDC contract?
Completing a major project can be overwhelming for volunteer board members and there are key areas that all board members should be aware of before signing a contract.
